A passion for hair. A journey years in the making.
By JENÈ was created by Jennifer Kennedy — hair extension specialist, salon owner and educator, with over a decade of hands-on experience in the industry.
After years of working with hair extensions behind the chair, I knew exactly what I wanted from the hair I worked with — beautiful quality, consistency, natural movement and a collection I could confidently stand behind.
But creating By JENÈ wasn't about simply finding a supplier and putting my name on a product.
THE JOURNEY
The journey began with years of researching, testing and comparing hair from different manufacturers.
I wanted to understand the industry beyond the salon, which led me to travel internationally, attend industry events and visit hair extension factories in person.
Walking through the factories, meeting the people behind the production and seeing first-hand how extension hair is created gave me a completely different understanding of the product.
It allowed me to ask questions, learn, test and refine until I found exactly what I wanted for By JENÈ.

We believe knowing your hair matters.
At By JENÈ, we’ve taken the time to understand what happens long before our extensions reach the salon. Through direct factory visits, conversations with our manufacturers and years of research, we’ve gained a deeper understanding of how our hair is sourced, selected and prepared.
Our hair is carefully selected for its quality, softness and natural movement before undergoing the processes required to create the shades and finishes within the By JENÈ collection.
For us, sourcing isn’t just about finding beautiful hair — it’s about understanding the journey behind it and choosing a product we’re proud to put our name on.
Because luxury begins long before the finished strand.
Our brushes, from the signature full-sized design to the perfectly crafted mini, were created to detangle with ease, protect hair’s integrity, and transform daily care into an indulgent experience.
